This online deprivation of liberty safeguards course, DoLS forms part of the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and this course is aimed at individuals to promote an understanding of how an individual within a care home, or hospital can be deprived of their liberty.
Our online DOLS course is an ideal training platform for care homes and nursing staff, care workers, including domiciliary carers, social workers, nurses, doctors and supporting staff, or anyone working within the care sector and is required to hold valid and up to date deprivation of liberty safeguards certification.
DoLs or safeguards has been put in place in many care sectors to make sure that a persons liberty is only restricted when there is no other way to take care of that person safely and our course covers the many rules and the planning needed to ensure understanding and compliance.
Once you have registered for training you will be able to download all course materials associated with this course and also when training you will be able to pause, or rewind each video to gain a better understanding of the course content and structure.
On successful completion of our course you will be able to print your deprivation of liberty safeguards course certification.
The course is also CPD certified and is available with 3 hours of CPD time credits, which also can be downloaded on completion of training.
