Dealing with child abuse and neglect can be a very difficult subject to come to terms with, especially if you are involved with looking after and caring for children on a weekly or daily basis. Being a child minder, within a nursery or school you are at to forefront of the care of children and you sometimes may see things that may constitute abuse or neglect.

The childcare act 2006 and the early years foundation stage safeguarding and welfare requirements 2012 require all group care providers to have in place a safeguarding children policy and procedure, which reflects the Local Safeguarding Children Board guidance and procedures.

Safeguarding Children level 3 training courseWhile it is not mandatory for childminders to have written copies of safeguarding policies and procedures, childminders are expected to ensure that any staff members and assistants they employ, either on a voluntary or paid basis are aware of all safeguarding children policies and procedures and that they are clearly able to define them for parents.

We offer level 2 & level 3 CPD certified online child protection training courses, which will help you understand and help promote awareness of abuse and neglect within children and also to offer you an understanding of the different types of abuse and neglect that can be suffered.

Our child protection programmes are aimed at individual childminders, nannies, school teachers to ensure they know how to identify and report the signs of abuse and neglect. There may be risk in many environments today and this training will ensure an understanding of the problem, avoiding possible situations and dealing with abuse and neglect once identified.

The courses are broken down into small sections so that you can gain a full understanding of each section before moving through the course.

We offer video based and also slide based training and on registration you will be able to start your course at once and on successful completion of training all child protection training certification can be downloaded and printed.
